
Karizma Wadsworth Joins Empowered Pathways as WERC Director
Empowered Pathways is pleased to welcome Karizma Wadsworth, MSW, as the new Director of the Women’s Employment & Resource Center (WERC).
Karizma brings extensive experience in human services, clinical support, workforce engagement, and program leadership to the role. Prior to joining Empowered Pathways, she served as Assistant Director of Multisystemic Therapy at Cayuga Centers, where she supervised clinical teams, coordinated community partnerships, facilitated trainings, and supported families throughout Oneida, Madison, and Albany counties.
In her new role, Karizma will lead WERC programming focused on helping women achieve sustainable employment and economic independence through education, workforce development, individualized support, and community partnerships. The position includes oversight of client services, employment readiness programming, outreach initiatives, and collaborative workforce engagement throughout the Mohawk Valley.
Karizma holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Advanced Clinical Practice from Walden University and has dedicated her professional career to supporting individuals and families through empowerment-focused services. Her background includes experience in counseling, workforce support, care coordination, training facilitation, and community engagement.

The Women’s Employment & Resource Center continues to provide employment readiness services, training opportunities, digital literacy programming, individualized coaching, and wraparound support services to women across the region.
