Empowered Pathways Accepted into Inaugural NEXT Nonprofit Operations Bootcamp Cohort

Empowered Pathways is proud to announce that the organization has been selected to participate in the inaugural 2026 Nonprofit Operations Bootcamp Cohort hosted by Herkimer Next, Inc.

The cohort-based professional development initiative is designed to strengthen nonprofit operational capacity through facilitated instruction, peer learning, guided assignments, and collaborative discussion among nonprofit leaders throughout the region. The program will run from February through September 2026.

Executive Director Timothy Lyon and Executive Assistant Joanne Thompson will represent Empowered Pathways in the inaugural cohort.

Participants were selected through a competitive application process reviewed by a committee of nonprofit professionals and program funders. The program focuses on strengthening organizational systems, operational effectiveness, leadership development, and long-term sustainability for participating nonprofits.

The bootcamp includes monthly sessions, peer collaboration opportunities, organizational assessments, and ongoing professional development activities designed to help participating organizations strengthen operations and increase community impact.

Participation in the cohort reflects Empowered Pathways’ continued commitment to innovation, organizational growth, and the development of strong systems that support high-quality services, community partnerships, and mission-driven work.
