Attendance Mediation (AM)
At the request of Emma’s school guidance counselor, Empowered Pathways facilitated an attendance mediation meeting with school officials, Emma’s mother, and Emma. After all parties shared their concerns and Emma was given a voice in the decision making process, an agreement was reached. Emma has since been attending school regularly and is again on track to graduate with her classmates.
